School Council Conferences take place every year. These events bring together a diverse range of education stakeholders and are an important aspect of ongoing professional development, sharing and networking of Yukon School Councils from across the territory. In addition to keynote speakers, there are plenary panels, training sessions, presentations, information updates and announcements, and workshops on a variety of relevant topics and issues.
Each of the gatherings are of great benefit to School Councils and others interested in the delivery of quality public education, improved student learning and informed decision-making.

Kevin is a well renowned speaker and author of Ensouling our Schools – a book which provides an innovative view of how our schools could be better designed to address the social, emotional and academic needs of our students. The book is also part of Yukon’s education curriculum.
